I call it this for the color during spring and summer when the sun shines through the high canopy. The trail is great nearly any time of year for hikes or running. Leads to many more trails throughout the woods. Mainly dirt and natural stone. Beyond are some gravel paths. Cannot count the number of great times I had jogging this trail and the many others around Schopp.
