mansion / manor house / villa, interesting place
Burnham Beeches is the giant empty ArtDeco P&O style mansion built by Alfred Nicholas in the 1920's from the fortune he made by buying German patents for Asprin painkilllers. It is a immense structure reminiscent of an old ocean liner laying dormant in the forest. The Angkor Wat of the Dandenongs!
