Established in 1939 by New Yorkers Pasquale "Patsy" D'Amore and his brother Franklyn, they're the ones who introduced the New York-style pizza to Los Angeles. Their restaurant was relocated to this permanent location in May 1949 from their original restaurant Casa D’Amore, which was located at Cahuenga Boulevard. Patsy's daughter Filomena D'Amore now continues the family business since 1998.
