This is the conveyor tunnel for the New Mine Level project and has a 2,134mm conveyer belt conveyor to transport ore to the Colón concentrator. It is approximately 9 kilometers long and 8 meters in diameter and ends at the new mine level where it will diverge to the 1678 level below the crusher level with a final elevation of 1700m. The start of the tunnel is near Caletones at an elevation of 1522 meters. The tunnel runs parallel to the south of the conveyor tunnel which it is connected to by 22 cross-tunnels.
