The Llobregat Delta comprises an extensive plain covering 93 km2 between the Garraf massif to the West, Montjuïc to the East, and Sant Boi-Cornellà to the North. It is the second largest delta in Catalonia and conserves one of the most important wetlands in the country. Different eras have left their mark on the land, turning it into a mosaic of landscapes: natural spaces, crop ñelds, urban, industrial and services areas, road and rail network, and infrastructures such as the port and airport In the midst of this mosaic of habitats, some of them highly humanised, the natural spaces are both outstanding and surprising for their value. The Delta contains 20 natural habitats of European interest, the conservation of three of which is of priority interest
