Auchenroddan Forest

Auchenroddan Forest was once farmland until it was sold to the forestry comission who planted trees on the area during the 1950s, despite being relatively new, it is a protected area and only small parts of it are used for logging, the rest is considered important to wildlife. The original farmhouse still exists in the north-western quarter of the forest.
