Mega Precious Metals Inc owns 100% of the Monument Bay Project through their wholly-owned subsidiary, Rolling Rock Resources Corporation, and it consists of 136 contiguous claims totaling 31,250 ha. It is a remote location and the closest community is Red Sucker Lake, and Mega Precious has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Red Sucker Lake First Nation to cover certain portions of the Project that lie within the traditional lands of the Red Sucker Lake First Nation. Red Sucker Lake is also the closest Hydro power line.

The Property is located within the Oxford Stull Domain (OSD) of the Western Superior Province that is an east-west trending granite-greenstone terrane exposed across northeastern Manitoba and northwestern Ontario. The Property is underlain by the western portion of the Stull Lake Greenstone belt andthe margins of plutonic suites of the OSD. Gold and tungsten mineralization in theProperty occurs within the steeply northward dipping Twin Lakes Shear Zone (TLSZ) andAZ Shear Zone (AZSZ).

Gold-tungsten mineralization is spatially-associated with late porphyry intrusions that are associated with second generation shear zones (Twin Lakes and AZ). The age of mineralization seems to be bracketed between ~2706 Ma and ~2696 Ma. The main mechanism for gold and tungsten mineralization is the cooling of a primitive and reduced mineralizing fluid. Significant tungsten mineralization indicates intrusion-related mineralization.

The Monument Bay project area contains three gold mineralized shear zones displaying gold and tungsten mineralization intermittently over a strike length of more than 40 km within the approximately 200 m wide TLSZ which hosts the Twin Lakes deposit and the Mid East deposit. The AZSZ which occurs south of and parallel to the TLSZ hosts the AZ deposit but has seen limited exploration along strike within the Property.
