Ijoen is an elongated inhabited island on the southeastern fringe of Arno Atoll. It is a composite island, with 4 former islands now merged into one. It includes the original Ijoen, and Nukne, Lobat and Kolalen, and possibly some former islets. The name Ijoen is not certain for the new elongated island, but it was the biggest of the former components. (Also spelled Igoen.)
