The oldest stone mosque in the Krasnoyarsk region. Restoration completed in 2017.
Construction permit was issued as early as 1892, the building was completed in 1905. After the Russian revolution in 1917, the mosque was partially destroyed and afterwards it was used as a woodworking factory.
Restoration of the mosque was carried out within the framework of a program on the reconditioning of historic and architectural monuments in Yeniseysk in celebration of the 400-year anniversary of the town’s foundation.
