  THIS IS NOT THE SHELL STATION The shell station is between Skinner Hall and US 40, better known by it's former moniker, BIGFOOT. At this location is the Lost Creek Apartment Complex, oft patronized by Rose grad students. The apartments include a retail location which now houses a clean deli, and used to house a questionalbe pizza joint. Their BLT pizza left nothing to be desired, but the place always felt scarily abandoned and gritty.

  Comfortable place to live with friendly neighbors and management. Suitable to both undergrad and grad students who would like to live close to Rose-Hulman (approx 5 minute walk) but a variety of college students that live here also go to ISU and IvyTech. Another aspect of Sharp Flats that I liked is the surprisingly diverse number of foreign exchange students that live here. It’s a safe and friendly small college community, it also a short walk to Heritage trail and Hawthorn Park. If you end up walking to Rose-Hulman the winter can suck.
