The Santiao Covered Bridge is one of the six most famous Covered Bridges in the World, and attracts many visitors. In a remote river valley, access is awkward. In order to benefit from the influx of visitors, several villages are vying to provide access to the bridge.
Other bridges of the six, The sister bridges of Sixi, BeiJian and XiDong Covered Bridges XueZhai Covered Bridge in SanKui township, Wenxing Covered Bridge in XiaoCun village, and Xianju Covered Bridge, north of Taishun City. All are nearby, in Taishun County.
