  Sharanamati is actually 11 km southern from Surunga.Sharanamati is not a private house or a residence,actually it is a small market.The language used here is Nepali.Most people use agriculture as their occupation.

  Sharnamati is home to many indigenous ethnic nationalities such as the Rajbanshi, Satar ,Meche, Koche, Limbu, Dhimal,and Gangain . Other ethnic groups such as Rai, Dhangad, Tamang, Uraon, Magar, Gurung and many others came to Jhapa in the late 19th century, so did the Hill/mountain castes Bahun, Chhettri, and Newar. Jhapa is diverse and rich in culture and traditions due to the influences of its different tribes. All the tribes/ethnic groups have their own languages, customs and traditions, and they celebrate their festivals every year.

  sharanamati is one of the best place that i ever been because it's my birth place and its' every thing is actually beautiful and this is the sacred palce for me .it lies between kankai and biring river.Most of the Villagers are farmer and they live in this place proudly.

  I'm not indigenious of sharnamati. I was born in 13thum & migrated in my childhood here where i have spent my valuable time.Really it is very nice place which has full of beautiful places. the major tribes are bramhan, chhetri, kiraties, rajbanshi, santhal and so on. all the communites are happy and cooperative in every sort of life. but we can't select our own local and compitent leader for our beter future. let's hope we will do in this election.i'm far due to service to the country but my heart is there. i'm government attorney working in bhaktapur jilla sarkari okil karyalaya as jilla nyayadhibakta. if anybody of my home town needs help in legal issues please call me in this no. 9841715547.
