Camillus is a town in Onondaga County, New York, United States. The population was 24,167 at the 2010 census. The town was named after Roman military leader Marcus Furius Camillus by a clerk interested in the classics. The Town of Camillus is west of Syracuse. There is also a village named Camillus in the town.
