9Q-CDM (cn 18919/163) BAL - Blue Air Lines 'Bibi yake' is the name of this ship, 'his wife' in Congolese Swahili. In Tanzania it would mean 'his grandma', which probably is more appropriate now, because Bibi won't fly anymore. Engine #3 serves as beehive, while soldiers frequently sit on the main gear when it rains. According to the chief air traffic controller Bibi was one of the 3 airliners that were hijacked by rebels in 1997, to launch an attack in Western Congo.
