Church with historical provenance extending as far back as the American Revolution. The church parish itself is one of the oldest churches in the United States. The current building was built in 1835, impressive enough, but the church was also built using beams from the preexisting church dating to 1755. Those beams still bear the hook marks from bedding being hung to the beams as the church was used as a hospital during the American Revolution. The church grounds contain the gravesites of some veterans of the American Revolution.
