  This intersection, along with the next one 'E' are the number 1 runway incursion scenes in the US airport system. The runways are closely spaced together, and the distance between the hold short lines are unnaturally short, so when ATC asks you to hold short after landing, you need to basically stay on 4L to avoid getting a violation. The State of Hawaii Aviation Division has failed to correct this issue thus far.
