I have been here for 6 years and I had learned a lot of thing in my life and experiences perviously on this Island. Thousand people were detended on this island, so I have the chance to meet them! I am apprecitated thing I have learned in the clinic with Doctors and staff. Hereby, I would like to thank to the Doctors, they are so tender and good to the Vietnamese in the Camp. They are Dr. Timorthy (Dr. Tim), Dr. Chen, Dr. Gramham, Dr. Kwang, Dr. Rany.

A lot of friends I met here, they are all so nice and still in my mind, although some of them are no longer I could meet, some of them are in USA, Canada, HongKong....and some of them are back to Vietnam. It is sweet to think of the pass sometimes, We are too hard to meet each other by distance, however, I wish you all are happy and enjoyable in your life! Life is great!

  • 我曾經是這裡的越南船民，我的童年就在這裡渡過，現在生活在越南。時間過得真快，睁眼間離開這裡有十一年了，我們真的不幸運，在這裡呆了六年長，到最終還是被迫回越。現在一想起大鴉洲，就想童年時的美好時光，真教人懷念啊！大鴉洲已是我的第三故鄉，希望有機會能夠去探望一下，到島上走走。
  • I had the privilege of working in the Tai_A-Chau Detention Centre for one year in 1993/1994. That experience changed my life. The beautiful Vietnamese people I meet there will always be in my memory.
