Jindo Bridge is a twin bridge, consisting of two cable-stayed bridges of very similar design, connecting Jindo Island with the mainland. The design of Jindo Bridge is reflected in the logo of Jindo County.

The first Jindo Bridge was opened on October 18,1984 with a main span of 344 m/1,129 ft, and two end spans of 70 m/230 ft, making the total length 484 m/1,588 ft. With a width of only 11.7 m/38.4 ft, at the time of its opening Jindo Bridge was the world's longest and narrowest suspension bridge.

Increasing local traffic caused the government to add the second bridge in 2005, which has the same length, but is wider at 12.5 m/41 ft.

A 200-meter section under the bridge is provided for navigation of ships lower than 20 meters.
