This is the location of the old Jaculet mine which is decommissioned and being reclaimed. It operated from 1960 to 1971 and total ore extracted was 1,202,119 tonnes at an average grade of 1.93% Cu, 1.94 g/t Au. This mine is now part of CBay minerals Chibougamau Project and is an historic resource for them. In 2012 a non 43-101 resource report by Globex indicated remaining resources at Jaculet of 114.000 tonnes with grades of 1.70% Cu, and 0.95 g/t Au. Some of hte mining was done under the lake and there is an underground connection between the Jaculet workings and the Bateman Bay workings to the SE.
