Historic Primitive Baptist church dating to sometime between 1789 and 1835. The grounds of the church and surrounding area was used as an encampment by some 20,000 members of the Union Army in 1862 during the Civil War. The church itself served as a hospital during this time. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
