a growing Dutch town
Nuenen is one of the first dutch places where the community build a glasfiber infrastructure to almost every home.
About 6500 homes have a 100Mbit internet connection, VOIP and TV over fiber.
Van Gogh lived and (learned to) paint there, for 2 years around 1882.
He made his painting "De Aardappeleters" here, the house where that is staged, still exists (in another form)
The house where his father lived an worked as a vicar, is still used by the presentday vicar.
