LAUDREFANG - A37 - Infantry Petit Ouvrage (FSFA)
Ouvrage Laudrefang is a lesser work (petit ouvrage) of the Maginot Line.
Laudrefang was damaged and never restored like other PO. Exterior of Block 3, a damaged cloche and heavy shell marks on the turret attest to the strength of an Ouvrage design.
Block 1: Infantry block and Entrance
-2 GFM cloches. The forward cloche is a type A modified to B, the aft cloche is type A partially modified to B.
-1 embrasure for twin MG REIBEL MAC 31(JM) and 47mm anti-tank gun (AC47).
-1 embrasure for twin MG REIBEL MAC 31(JM)
-2 81mm mortar embrasures, firing from the lower area.
Block 2: MG Turret
-1 retractable MG turret for twin REIBEL MAC 31
- 1 GFM cloche type A
Block 3: Infantry block not attached to tunnel system
-1 retractable MG turret for twin REIBEL MAC 31
-2 GFM cloches type A. One has an observation periscope type J2 installed.
-1 embrasure for twin MG REIBEL MAC 31(JM) and 47mm anti-tank gun (AC47).
-1 embrasure for twin MG REIBEL MAC 31(JM)
-2 81mm mortar embrasures, firing from the lower area.
Block 4: Infantry block
-2 GFM cloches type A.
-1 grenade launcher cloche (LG), not equipped
- Emergency exit guarded by two Automatic Weapon embrasures
Block 5: Artillery Observation Block
-2 GFM cloches type A.
-1 grenade launcher cloche (LG), not equipped
-1 observation cloche (VDP)
