  My name is Mohd. Azeem I belong to Hapur.I moved an application to this Meerut office under RTI act on 27-05-08,seeking pieces of information about the remaining installments and dues against my property which I possessed through a registered POWER OF ATTORNEY from the original allottee,and according to the power of attorney the original allottee has transferred many rights into my favour and one among these rights is to know the property's details from the PARISHAD.In first place,I was told by the Board's authorities that I have no right to know the dues about concerned property,agaist which I argued but failed to satisfy the Board's authorities and they didn't provide me the required info.After all, I again moved an application seeking the same.But,to my surprise ,the Board didn't accept the cash as a fee of RTI,and demanded a bank draft of Rs.10/-. I met the Asstt.Commissioner of Board in his Office,but he too told me that the cash fee could not be accepted as board has no provisions to accept the cash as fee.I don't know what the Boards' provision is about the cash receiving as fee of RTI.I know only that each and every deptt.of GOVT. OF INDIA is bound to receive the fee in form of BANK DRAFT/POSTAL ORDERS/CHEQUES/CASH.And I amd sure the BOARD OF HOUSING AND DOVELOPMENT is a govt.deptt.so,how can the Board deny to accept the cash fee? God or they know better.After all,I managed that,and being left without any other option by the Board,I hurriedly managed a bank draft of Rs.10/-plus Rs.42/-for banks commission for the draft in vain.The work,which could be done in Rs.10/-only,I was compelled to spend a sum of Rs.52/-by the Board.I am very "thankful" to the Board for that kind of treatment. waiting for reply..
