Lady Janet Clarke Rotunda – Queen Victoria Gardens
This classic rotunda was built in 1913 and named after Lady Janet Clarke, a philanthropist who worked for the welfare of women in Melbourne. This garden wedding rotunda is a popular choice for ceremonies, catering for shelter for up to 80 guests. A six meter carpet runner is generally sufficient to enhance the aisle and the radiating afternoon sun makes for a truly stunning back drop. Weighted umbrellas are permitted around the grounds of the rotunda, providing extra shelter for larger guest numbers. A permit needs to be obtained for ceremony.
