  • It was once upon a time , when there was no other play ground similar to this . Now the newly built Kalyani Stadium seems to be the place where all activities in relation to sports take place . Town Club ground is now meant for so many social gatherings , starting from Handloom Expo to Durga Puja & Kalyani Mela. But nevertheless the location of the ground is excellent be it sports or social gathering.
  • I LOVE KALYANI AND CENTRAL PARK IS THE NERVE CENTRE OF KALYANI.BE IT TOWN CLUB GROUND OR BHUSHAN SWEETS OR PURNODAR FAST FOOD CENTRE IT IS OBVIOUSLY UNBEATABLE.I AM BORN AND BROUGHT UP HERE AND I AM PROUD TO BE A KALYANITE.
  • Most centrally placed ground hosts various activite : fair, Puja, Sports, etc. Earlier there used to be "Yatra plays" also. At the south west corner there two buildings. One is the Public Library the other is the Kalyani Branch of INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY. Post office, police station and several banks are nearby. The Central Park by it's side is a circular park well maintened and having a water tank at the centre. Annual Flower and Vegitable exhibition is held here. Members of loughing club meet here daily in the morning.
