Taplacken castle (Talpaki)

Built by Teutonic knights in 1336 close to Old-Prussian village Tapilauks. This wooden castle was destroyed by Lithunian army of Grand duke Kęstutis, but Germans rebuilded this castle from rock. Since 1530 it was turned into a residential castle.
