The museum is located in Casinina village in the township of Auditore (PU).
It is the most important museum on World War II in the Marche's region. Its showrooms contain over 3,000 exhibits found on the battle fields spread over the Gothic Line and belonging to both fronts. A rare collection of uniforms and vintage original photographic documents related to the war events are exhibited. The museum boasts precious historical archives unique in Italy, with its very rare collection of vintage newspapers and documents dated 1936-1945, 1945-1960, and a videotape library as well as a classic book library with historically important material available for teachers, students and amateurs.
