Pieia is a small inhabited place on the southern slopes of Monte Nerone, 650 m altitude.
It has houses dating back to centuries. XVI - XVIII, several of which are restored. Among them a dovecote tower and another called Castle Maestrini. There is also the Oratory of St. Luke and a source and used as a wash trough, recently restored.
Nearby Pieia are important geological monuments, such as the natural arch of Fondarca (or source of Arc), the "valla blind" to Pieia and rocky spiers of the King and the Sasso Sasso della Rocca.
