Molleone (or Monleone) is a sparsely populated town located in the hilly area between the Basin and the Tarugo del Fosso Screbia, at 380 m altitude.
There are currently (2007) a ruined church, a cemetery along the road at a crossroads, and the ruins of the castle of the same name on a nearby hill, at 612 meters above sea level (marked on the map with the name Castle IGM).
