Connecting Vysoká nad Labem and Opatovice nad Labem this iron bridge was built in 1883 replacing ferry which was operated next to the weir above the bridge. Bridge is open for light road traffic only and is covered with iron plates after the last repair. Speed is reduced to 20 km per hour.
The bridge and the weir are popular place during floods when the weir is completely hidden under the water and the bridge is usually closed due to water height which can even reach the road level.
