In December of 2006, DAMAC Properties, the Middle East’s largest private-sector luxury property-developer, announced the launch of its 320 million-square-foot Gamsha Bay project – the largest development in Egypt.

While this brand new Egyptian development has not yet launched, it will, without a doubt, be the region’s largest township. North of Hurghada, Gamsha Bay will transform the dessert into an oasis. The project will offer residents a scenic environment with nearly forty kilometres of wide-open coastline and twenty-five kilometres of white sandy beaches along nine unique zones.

Over 55,000 units lay alongside entertainment venues and countless recreational amenities, including an innovative extreme-sports adventure theme-park.

Located sixty kilometres north of Hurghada and within driving distance to Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh and El Gouna, Gamsha Bay will offer the very best of Egypt. With its coral reefs, rolling hills and white-capped coastline, Gamsha Bay will boost the economy of this region and create new attractions for tourists.
