  this village is about 12 km distance fro, nh 33 lalki ghati road it comes under usra panchayat and it is controleed by mukhiya of this panchayat Mr Shailesh kumar choudhary he is very well known person he is basiccaly known as the social worker as well as ajsu party active member . KORCHEY is a village of almost 1000 people. Ethnic composition of korchey is consists of many castes basically in HINDU BHUMIHAAR is the major group here followed by mahto (kurmi) kewat , munda, as wll as karmali and kumhar . MUSLIMS also lives here . ALL community lives here very friendly and maintain peace . this village is famous for the school which is estd 1952 during the british time and for some renowned teachers of this school like Lt. sri amrendra nath Mishra(PRINCIPAL) , sri naresh singh ,sri tapeshwar singh, brindwan singh, etc. right know this village is achieving new mile stones it is the first village to be free from open toilet . Recently a school is open by Mr kamlesh kumar singh S/o Lt. sri sudan singh & Lt.smt jaymani devi the J.S PUBLIC SCHOOL right now it is primary school . The school consists of 400 students and more than 20 teaching staffs all the teaching staffs are highly qualified and giving their best to educate and boost up the student to meet the future challenges . this village is famous for one temple also which is radha Krishna temple which just behind of korchey utkramik vidyalaya , korchey . by ansu
