Mount Cooroora, at 439 m, is a prominent feature of the park. It’s distinctive shape visible from many locations on the Sunshine Coast. Tall open forest, woodlands and montane heath plant communities are protected here.
The Mount Cooroora hiking trail takes fit walkers to the top of the mountain and is the location of an annual ‘King of the Mountain’External link icon race. Trails around the base of the mountain provide opportunities for horse and mountain bike riding.
