This remote place is in Mauretania, but very close to Senegal and the Senegal River.
Very nice and clean Eco-Lodge with tents, run by the outstanding Mme Sylvie, excellent food made by her, best place to stay when visiting the fantastic Dawling National Parc and for relaxing in breathtaking nature. Can be reached only by a good 4-wheel-drive car 4X4 only via the entrance checkpoint of the parc. Ask there for the little bit complicated route (see it in the map), it is not easy to find especially after rain- season but the polite guards will help you. Next little village: Al Qahira (Cairo!!!)

Update fall 2014: unfortunately, Mme Sylvie could not continue with this lodge due to lack of guests, so the lodge is closed. Sylvie can be found now with a lodge at the beach north of Nouakchott close to Les Sultanes of Nicolas Bovet.
But as a scenic site it is still worth to be visited an stay for some time to relax in complete quietness
