"De Beemden" is a nature area located between Wolvertem and the hamlet of Imde at the North.
There are two little streams 'De Zyp' and 'De Meuzegemsebeek' who merge into 'De Molenbeek'.
The pastures are often lined with rows of trees, often poplars. The name "Beemden" refers to wet pastures. When it rains these pastures can become very wet and can hold up a lot of water which make this area very furtile for all kinds of plants.
This area has also tracked paths for walking and one for cycling through.
