Former site of a premier ski area since closed down due to legal battles with the City of Raton. owned and operated by the Walton family this ski area was famous for its great steaks and beautiful location. famous people such as Andy Murphy came here. Farther up in the canyon there use to be a shack that Billy the Kid hid out in one summer before there area was turned into a recreation spot.
