The Saddle is both a viewpoint and an outpost.
Before, this is as far as you can drive on your way to the Batad Rice Terraces, from the Saddle on you have to walk. This is the only place in Batad where one can receive mobile signal from the networks.
There is a restaurant, canteen, space to park and a place for the drivers to hang out while they wait for their passengers to come back.
