Colonial garden (City of Brussels)

In 1905 King Leopold 2 created a colonial garden next to his residence to accommodate greenhouses for the plants brought back from Africa by Emile Laurent. This house was the chief gardener's home. In 1951 the collection was moved to Meise, and in 1964 a public garden was created.
