The "Pilling" refers to Frank E. Pilling, an alumnus who bestowed a generous gift to CSc.

This is generally the home of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and some Electrical Engineering classes, as well as administrative offices, faculty, and academic advisors.

Building 14 is home to the Computer Systems Lab, which has undergone major renovation sometime around 2003-2004. For many years, Don Erickson had supervised the day-to-day operations of the CSL and kept the lab humming.

As of 1998, it was home to the central mainframe (do they still call it that these days?) where all students connect up to check their e-mail, surf the web, etc.
