Opened in May 2005 the new bridge connects the busy area south of the city centre, in the nearby of the University Campus, to the eastern neighborhoods of Parma.
It is a suspension bridge 177 metres long with steel cables supporting the deck, designed by famous architects Francesco Martinez y Cabrera and Pier Giorgio Malerba. turismo.comune.parma.it/
