  • The people makes the place what it is rather than the other way around. It has been, over the years, consistenly producing the most hardworking people in Batangas. They seek their fortunes not only locally (Mindoro, Bicol & Bacolod to name a few), but also around the globe. They have never lose their "provinciano" sense of humour (including their accent), attitude, and they are proud of it. Funny and loving, with a fiery temper to match. The best way to describe them is " You can take a person away from BUNGCALOT but you will never take the BUNCALOT away from the person". Just a PRECAUTION! They smile a lot, but never mess with them!
