M. Roy, D. Roy and K. Roy, sons of Late Ratneswar Roy are owner of this house. The original residents of this whole Paharpur area, and holders of a large tract of land before the land distribution act by the Govt. in 1960s and the floods of 1965 that submerged Paharpur. Much of the neighbors are recent "immigrants", and have displaced the indigenous Rajbangshi peoples, to which the Roys belong.
