The Fitzroy Tavern.Built in 1883 as a Coffee House,then The Hundred Marks Pub in 1887,then named the present Fitzroy Tavern,in 1919.During the 1920's to 1950's,it was a Bohemian focal point for artists and intellectuals.
This was a regular haunt for notable folks such as Dylan Thomas,George Orwell,Malcolm Lowry and many other poets,artists,broadcasters and politicians..
