  • BABA DEEP SINGH JI'S SAMADH AS PER HISTORY HE WAS CREMATED HERE. ORIGNALLY IS OLD "RAM RAUNI FORT" AND OTHER SINGH WHO WERE MARTYRED DURING WARS WITH MOGUL WERE ALSO CREMATED HERE. THERE IS STILL CREMATION GROUNDS ACROSS STREET THERE ARE ALOT OF MYTHICAL STORIES TOLD BUT NOT TRUE AS HISTORIC FACT. THERE IS A HUGE PROPERTY ASSOCIATED WITH THIS GURDWARA IN SURRONDINGS AND ILLEGALY SOLD BY MANAGMENT INCLUDING ALL OF BABA DEEP SINGH COLONY WHICH WAS "AMRITSAR SUGAR MILL" ONLY 30 YEARS BACK INSIDE OLD WALLED CITY.
  • Baba Deep Singh ji gave his life at an old age of 83. He took up battle with the Mughal forces which were desicrating the Golden Temple. He fought for the helpless whole of his life, living a life of a true Sikh of the great Gurus. He died fighting for the honour of Harmandar Sahib the Golden Temple Amritsar.
