Northerly blowing winds are predominant in the gulf. It wakes up by noon time and dies off late afternoon. Winds blow stronger between Points Teke and Doğanbey and builds up heavy seas. The northern tip of Eşek Adası is rocky. They are submerged rock, and the rocks extend to the north 80 meters. Careful plotting is required.
