Зал Адмирала (Seville)

Spain / Sevilla / El Cuervo de Sevilla / Seville
 display, interesting place

Inside La Casa de Contratación is a double-height corridor that progresses throughout the building, separated by arches and marble columns of the Tuscan order (in the lower part) and Ionic marble columns above.
From here you enter the right side room called the Admiral court (Cuarto del Almirante)
In front of the Hall we see "The opening of the Latin American Exhibition of Seville" on 9 May 1929-where appears the royal family - painted by Alfonso Grosso .
This room has on its walls a large collection of paintings of 19 and 20 centuries, most notably,
- "the end of San Fernando" by Virgilio Mattoni
- portraits of King Ferdinand VII and his 4th wife Maria Cristina of Naples, parents of Elizabeth II and the Infanta Maria Luisa. Carlos Blanco dated to the first third of the nineteenth century.
