Shiryaevo ravine - the largest ravine Zhiguli Mountains. Other names of the ravine - Shiryayevo Gully or Shiryayev Ravine. Its winding ribbon, starting at the center of Samara Bend, divides it into equal parts almost in half. The length of the ravine is 35 kilometers. At the Volga River, where Shiryayevo village is located, the ravine is 2 kilometers across. On its way the ravine extends to a considerable size, then narrows, passing around through the steep mountain slopes. In the valley of the ravine Shiryayevo you can find everything that is rich nature of this land - the springs, rocks, rocky steppe, birch and pine forests. A very picturesque and interesting place.
