At first it was a mere cremation ground for the local Hindus.About forty yrs back Lt.Bhutanath Pradhan, Headmaster of Panskura Primary School,Balidungri,started to pray at night to MA KALI and later Lt. Bishnu Rana did the same. Later, Sri Paran Manna took initiative to organise everything to give this place a shape to gather and celebrate holy occations.
