Because Amboselli is very flat, you can get significant views from even a small elevation. Observation hill is such a small hill. At the top there is a small shelter with a few signs that provide information on the geology and history of the area. It is a pleasant place to take your picnic lunch. There are very nice restroom facilities near the parking area at the bottom of the hill.
