cemetery, Roman Empire, barrow/tumulus/burial mound
The Roman tumulus, referred to as Koppelhoven (hill farm) in 1548, is now surrounded by the tall trees of a little park. This site is also called Jodenberg (Jews' Hill), which may point to the use of the former Roman tumulus as a Jewish graveyard from the 17th. century onward.
